Meet the Trainer: Simona Millham

Simona Millham joined the CBT Nuggets team in November, bringing with her nearly 20 years of experience teaching people how to confidently and successfully use Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Keep your eyes open for videos from her first course, "What's New in Office 2016."

Where she lives: Hampshire, which is south of London. Simona said it's a beautiful area that's ideal for long walks with her husband and dog, especially during early summer because the bluebells are in full bloom.

Area of expertise: Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint. She's earned her Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Master certification.

When she's not creating Nuggets: In addition to walking her dog, you might find her playing the harp, dashing off to a yoga class, doing her French homework, or feeding hedgehogs at her local wildlife rescue center!

Her favorite thing about being a trainer: She enjoys teaching people tips, tricks, and workarounds that can make their day-to-day work easier. It's especially fun for her when people thump their heads and say, "HOW did I live without that feature for so long?!?" Fun fact: Her colleagues call her the "Office Tipster."

She's passionate about video training because: It's perfect for her, as a Microsoft Office trainer, to showcase technology working the way it should. She said that makes it perfect "watching" material. She especially loves the way that people can watch a video and try out the feature she's training on at the same time. She says, "That's proper learning!"
