What is Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) for Endpoints?

Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) for Endpoints is a cloud-managed security solution that can help you prevent cyberattacks on your network endpoints. It can detect, contain and act upon threats to your network before they can damage it.

AMP employs a suit of prevention techniques to protect your network. This includes a traditional antivirus inspection engine and malware protection combined with advanced machine learning capabilities as well as static and dynamic analysis of files, vulnerability monitoring, file behavior analysis and retrospective inspection.

AMP can further detect malware that has already infected your network and not only help you remediate it but also show you how you can use AMP to prevent this from happening again. It additionally provides you with a complete history of threats that have been made to your network and their scope, which can significantly reduce the amount of time that you spend investigating and analyzing these threats.
