How to Add Texture with Stickers in Paint 3D
Stickers are a great way to add texture or color to a 3D model. Users can add their own from local files, but Paint 3D comes with several already loaded, including a rainbow stamp and a bark texture. Stickers will wrap dynamically around 3D objects, so any kind of 2D image can be applied easily to fit boxes, spheres or cylinders and match the underlying object's lighting. With the stamp button, the same sticker can be applied quickly to multiple objects.
Once a sticker is applied, it's part of the 3D object it's applied to and can't be removed easily, but until then, the size, position and rotation of the sticker are all easily configurable. Stickers can also be made anywhere from completely transparent to completely opaque, allowing for subtle effects. There are also selectable levels of reflectivity for further customization, and the magic selection tool can be used to only apply a selected fragment of a sticker.
