What are Access Objects?
Objects in Access allow you to enter, store, analyze and compile data. There are four types of them: tables, queries, forms and reports.
A table is a collection of information organized into columns and rows, which in Access are called fields and records, with a field further defining the data type of a column as well. Tables are where you store all your data in Access.
You use forms in Access to enter, modify and view records in your tables. They provide an interface to your data so that you can manage it effectively.
Queries provide a means for you to search for and compile data from your tables. With queries, you can view and analyze a particular subset of your data.
Reports are a way of presenting data from your tables in a format that someone can easily understand and analyze. Every report has a purpose, such as detailing your organization's revenue or expenses.
