Is SCCM the Right Application Deployment Tool for You?

Enterprise IT environments have become complicated – especially since the needs of end-users constantly change. Users need access to different applications to do their job. Likewise, IT admins need to be able to monitor and update those applications. How do IT admins handle these tasks?

There is no shortage of tools specifically designed to deploy and update applications in the enterprise environment today. Deciding which tool is best for the job depends on the stakeholders involved in the business.

One tool is SCCM. SCCM is a popular tool for Microsoft operating systems that allow admins to easily push applications to specific users or user groups. Likewise, SCCM can handle other tasks like updating those applications and providing support for users as well.

SCCM isn't the only tool, though. For instance, if your business uses Office 365, Office 365 admins can push Office-related applications and plugins straight from the O365 admin page.
