What is Cisco DNA Center?

Cisco DNA Center is a platform that provides you with a single dashboard for managing and automating your network. With it, you can configure and provision many thousands of network devices in a short period of time. You can also use it to apply policies to the users of the devices instead of the devices themselves. DNA Center further lets you not only monitor your network but also react to changes in its condition, and it uses AI and machine learning techniques to ensure that your network is performing in the way that you expect.

While Cisco-centric, DNA Center is an open platform. Through the use of APIs and SDKs, you can run third-party technologies on top of it, so that you can visually manage these heterogeneous environments.

Finally, with network security of paramount importance, DNA Center can detect and mitigate threats in real-time, by using your devices as security sensors that provide a continuous stream of information relating to suspicious traffic and behavior.
