How Can vManage Enhance Monitoring of an SD-WAN Environment?

As organizations move to build more resilient network architectures enabled by SD-WAN, they're finding a need for more detailed monitoring and reporting to gain insight and analytics over how their SD-WAN environment is performing. To address this growing need, Cisco has provided a detailed dashboarding solution called vManage that provides detailed insight and analytics for organizations implementing a Cisco SD-WAN overlay network.

Via the vManage dashboard, admins gain access to detailed insight into the SD-WAN environment, such as detailing the various vSmart, WAN Edge, vBond, and vManage components within the environment. Further, vManage provides detailed insight into the Site Health denoting which components within the environment may be exhibiting faulty connection with the SD-WAN network and provides alerting capabilities when control statuses flag a Control Down or a component is exhibiting no connectivity in the network. This intuitive, cohesive dashboarding tool acts as a great monitoring addition to any organization implementing the Cisco SD-WAN solution looking to better understand the unique health status of their environment.
