Why Should Your Business Create A VPN?

In today's business world, we can't depend on employees always working within the walls of a business. Organizations are implementing work from home programs to help reduce costs while increasing productivity. Likewise, some departments, like Sales, need the ability to work while on the road. All of this means that employees need to access information resources, yet businesses don't want to expose proprietary information to the public internet. So, IT professionals need to implement VPNs for their organizations.

Many VPNs may include client software to establish VPN connections. Not all businesses want to use proprietary VPN clients, though, and would prefer to use the native tools that Windows 10 offers. By doing this, VPN clients can be implemented and controlled through native Microsoft management applications. The native Windows 10 VPN client is easily controlled and configured through things like group policy and active directory. By using these Microsoft native management tools, businesses don't need to use additional software applications for account management that might introduce extra complexity or increase the TCO for a business.
