Azure Training for Hybrid Environments, Azure VMs FAQs: Cost, Training, Value
Azure virtual machines are a critical part of just about any Azure solution, and hybrid environments can be particularly challenging even for experienced administrators. So this course is ideal for most Azure administrators, but particularly those who know they'll be SSHing or RDPing into VMs and configuring, managing and optimizing them.
No, this short course is narrowly focused on administering virtual machines in a hybrid Azure environment, there's no certification that only covers that information. You can use this course to shore up areas of your cloud administration knowledge or in preparation for an AWS certification, but you don't have to be working on a cert to benefit.
There are two AWS certifications you might want to consider after taking this Azure training for hybrid environments. First, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner: Foundational, which covers about six months of fundamental AWS Cloud knowledge. Second, configuring Azure VMs in a hybrid environment will be more useful for the Associate-level Solutions Architect cert.
If your company or organization works with an Azure cloud and you were surprised to learn that managing your virtual machines calls for managing data disks on servers you thought were virtualized, you should probably take this course. Learn where your hybrid environment's data is actually stored and how to optimize its operations with this VM training.
