This intermediate Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Expert training prepares systems engineers to take the MS-100 exam, which is one of two exams required to earn the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Enterprise Administrator Expert certification.
Identity access and management is a simple enough concept: if it were about a physical building, it's deciding who gets a key to the front door, who gets the security code access, and who can unlock the supply room closet. Identifying users on a network and permitting access to certain data and networks isn't much different in concept, but is much more difficult and complicated in practice, especially when talking about large networks that span multiple physical locations or device types. MS-100 is the certifying exam for everything an engineer needs to know about Microsoft 365's identity management services. This training covers the material needed to get a passing score.
For managers with Microsoft products, this Microsoft training can be used for MS-100 exam prep, onboarding new systems engineers, individual or team training plans, or as a Microsoft reference resource.

Who Should Take MS-100 Training?
This Enterprise Administrator Expert training is considered engineer-level Microsoft training, which means it was designed for systems engineers. This Microsoft 365 course is designed for systems engineers with three to five years of experience with Microsoft 365.
New or aspiring systems engineers. Managing domains, setting up tenancy and subscriptions, managing identities and user roles, and configuring authentication are fundamental skills for a career in systems engineering. And depending on the systems or tools you're using, the details change. So if you're thinking about a career as a systems engineer, make sure there's no part of Microsoft 365's identity management services you're not ready for with this training.
Experienced systems engineers. Systems engineers who've already been working for a few years probably have a lot of familiarity with most of the material on the MS-100 certifying exam. But don't be embarrassed if there's a part of designing and implementing Microsoft 365 services, managing user identities and roles, managing access and authentication or planning workloads that you don't feel rock-solid on. This training will bring you up to speed on anything you might've overlooked in your career so far and prepare you to take MS-100.
