There are two primary audiences for this course. First, anyone planning to earn CCNP Security. Earning it requires passing the core exam as well as at least one concentration exam, which this course prepares you for. The other audience would be any security administrator who suddenly finds themselves responsible for Cisco next-gen firewalls or IPS and needs to understand them.
Yes, after you complete this training, you'll be prepared for 300-710 SNCF, which is one of the concentration exams for the CCNP Security. You won't be prepared for the entirety of the CCNP Security, as that also requires passing 350-701 SCOR (implementing and operating Cisco core technologies), but you'll be halfway there.
The CCNP Security would be the logical cert to try for after finishing this course.
