In this intermediate Salesforce skills training, Jamie Grettum prepares learners to use the Salesforce Classic Interface.
With each release, Salesforce Lightning becomes more stable, and Salesforce Classic steps closer to the legacy technology bin. But Classic is still very much alive. Salesforce may not be developing new features for Classic, but it’s not taking any away. That means this Salesforce Classic training is still the perfect user training for any office that hasn’t switched over.
Once you're done with this Salesforce training, you'll know how to navigate Salesforce Classic, import and export data, manage users, control access to data, and create Reports and Dashboards. Learners who are new to administering Salesforce will benefit from progressing through the whole course, while experienced learners may find it more advantageous to jump into the Nuggets they find most valuable.
For anyone who manages Salesforce training, this training can be used to onboard new employees, curated into individual or team training plans, or as a Salesforce reference resource.

Who Should Take Classic Interface Training?
This Classic Interface training is considered administrator-level Salesforce training, which means it was designed for salesforce administrators. This Classic Interface skills course is designed for salesforce administrators with three to five years of experience with CRM infrastructure.
New or aspiring salesforce administrators. If you’re a relatively new Salesforce administrator, your training and orientation may have focused on the use of Salesforce within your organization or team and not on the tool itself. Salesforce is a complex tool and its user interface can be confusing. With this training, you’ll learn everything Salesforce is capable of doing and how to navigate the interface to do it. If you’ll be navigating the Salesforce Classic Interface for a long career, you owe it to yourself to get this training.
Experienced salesforce administrators. If you’ve been a Salesforce administrator for a few years, you’ve been navigating the user interface for a while, but have you ever gotten formally trained in every part of the interface? Salesforce’s Classic interface can still be activated by individual users even if your company has migrated to Lightning Experience, so you owe it to yourself to completely master every part of the classic user interface -- with this training.
