CBT Nuggets 20th anniversary giveaway contest Rules

CBT Nuggets invites you to participate in our 20th Anniversary Campaign Contests! We have an exciting social media contest for free SWAG! We also have an exciting contest for free training! Please see the below rules for each respective contest as well as our general contest rules at the bottom of the page. We can’t wait to celebrate our 20th Anniversary with you!

Swag giveaway

Swag Giveaway contest. It’s simple: Share your 2020 IT training goal and how reaching it would impact your life on Twitter with the hashtag #CBTN20. We will retweet selected entries and randomly select participants to receive CBT Nuggets swag!

The general rules of the Swag Giveaway contest are as follows:

• Each Participant shall have from November 4, 2019, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific to December 31, 2019, at 11:59 p.m Pacific. To submit a qualified social media post using the #CBTN20 hashtag. There is no limit to the number of unique entries that may be posted.
• Participants must be 18 years or older, and Participants represent and warrant that they are not a government employee or otherwise prohibited from entering the contest or receiving any resulting prizes.
• A qualified entry is your 2020 learning goal and how reaching it would impact your life, posted to Twitter under the Participant’s personal account, and with the post tagged with the #CBTN20 hashtag.
• CBT Nuggets will make the following prizes available to random participants:
• CBT Nuggets branded beanie and decal, or other CBT Nuggets branded items, as available.
• CBT Nuggets shall mail each winner her/his respective prize within a reasonable period of time after the end of the contest.
• By participating in the CBT Nuggets 20th Anniversary Swag Giveaway Contest, Participant grants CBT Nuggets a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to republish Participants’s entry in electronic format and hard copy for purposes connected with this promotion; and authorizes CBT Nuggets to use Participant’s name and Twitter account for the sole purpose of identifying Participant as the author of the entry and/or as a winner of the contest.

Free training giveaway

Free Training Giveaway contest. It’s simple: Share your 2020 IT training goal using our contest submission form at www.cbtnuggets.com/learner-stories. We will review all entries to select twenty (20) participants to receive Six (6) Months of Free Training with CBT Nuggets!

• Each Participant shall have from November 4, 2019, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific to December 31, 2019, at 11:59 p.m Pacific. To submit a qualified entry using our contest submission form. Only one (1) submission per participant.
• Participants must be 18 years or older, and Participants represent and warrant that they are not a government employee or otherwise prohibited from entering the contest or receiving any resulting prizes.
• A qualified entry is your 2020 learning goal and how reaching it would impact your life, submitted via our contest submission form at www.cbtnuggets.com/learner-stories, with all required fields in the form completed accurately.
• CBT Nuggets will make the following prizes available to selected participants:
• Free CBT Nuggets Training for a period of six (6) months.
• CBT Nuggets shall e-mail each winner with instructions on how to redeem their training within a reasonable period of time after the end of the contest.
• By participating in the CBT Nuggets 20th Anniversary Free Training Giveaway Contest, Participant grants CBT Nuggets a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to republish Participants’s entry in electronic format and hard copy for purposes connected with this promotion; and authorizes CBT Nuggets to use Participant’s name for the sole purpose of identifying Participant as the author of the entry and/or as a winner of the contest.
• Winners may have the opportunity to participate in a Learner Story.

General rules for both contests

• CBT Nuggets does not make any warranty, either expressed or implied, in the prizes and hereby disclaims any and all warranties in any of the prizes and shall not be held responsible for any damage to the prizes while in transit. Participant expressly understands that she/he is receiving any prize in an “AS IS” condition.
• By entering this contest you agree to the processing of your personal data pursuant to our Privacy Policy, available at www.cbtnuggets.com/privacy. Please review the Privacy Policy of any social media platform you are using to participate in the contest.
• CBT Nuggets reserves the right to suspend or terminate this contest, or otherwise disqualify any Participant, for any violations of these content rules or actions which otherwise diminish the spirit and integrity of this contest.
• Winners shall have 30 days to claim their prize and provide any required information for prize delivery. If a winner fails to provide this information, that winner shall waive their right to receive any prize.
