Managing Conversations and Memories in IT Trainerbot

IT Trainerbot lets you save and manage conversations so you can easily return to previous questions and answers. With IT Trainerbot Plus, you can also use saved memories to make future interactions more personalized.

Saving your conversations

Saved conversations keep your questions and answers organized and easily accessible, so you can revisit technical explanations, troubleshooting guidance, and other useful information without starting over.

The number of conversations you can save depends on your membership:

IT Trainerbot Free: Save up to three conversations.
IT Trainerbot Plus: Unlimited saved conversations.

How do I manage my conversations?

You can pin, rename, archive, or delete conversations to keep your conversation history organized.

To manage a conversation:

Visit the IT Trainerbot page.
Hover over the conversation you'd like to manage.
Select the available conversation management options.
Choose whether to pin, rename, archive, or delete the conversation.

What are saved memories?

Saved memories are available with IT Trainerbot Plus.

This feature allows IT Trainerbot to retain useful information across conversations, helping it provide more relevant responses based on previously shared context.

Unlike saved conversations, which preserve your previous discussions, saved memories help IT Trainerbot carry useful context into future interactions.

IT Trainerbot can create memories based on your ongoing conversations. You can also specifically ask IT Trainerbot to remember something.

For example, you could say:

"Remember that I'm preparing for the CCNA exam in three months."

IT Trainerbot can use this information to provide more relevant answers in future conversations.

How do I manage my saved memories?

You can add, review, edit, or forget saved memories at any time.

To manage your memories:

Visit the IT Trainerbot page.
Click Show Conversations.
Select Memory.
Review your saved memories and make any desired changes.

You can also ask IT Trainerbot to remember information directly within a conversation.

What happens to my conversations and memories when I upgrade?

When you upgrade from to IT Trainerbot Plus or an Individual or Teams membership:

Your existing conversations carry over.
You gain access to unlimited saved conversations.
You can begin creating and managing saved memories.

You don't need to start over when upgrading your account.

What happens if I downgrade or my subscription expires?

If you lose access to IT Trainerbot Plus because your subscription expires or your license is removed, your account returns to IT Trainerbot Free unless you have another eligible membership.

Your saved conversation access will be limited to your three most recent conversations.

Saved memories are a Plus feature and will no longer be available for use with the Free version.

Where can I view my IT Trainerbot activity?

You can review your personal IT Trainerbot usage through your CBT Nuggets Analytics.

To access your activity:

Visit your My Analytics page.
Select the IT Trainerbot tab.
Review your IT Trainerbot usage details.

If you're part of an organization, your Admins can also access certain information about your IT Trainerbot activity through your organization's Analytics.

Can my organization's Admins see my conversations and questions?

Organization Admins can view certain details about your IT Trainerbot activity, including:

Your conversation names
The total number of questions in each conversation
When you last used IT Trainerbot
The top themes you've asked about

This information helps Admins understand how their teams are using IT Trainerbot and identify opportunities for additional training.

Can my organization's Admins see my saved memories?

No. Organization Admins do not have direct access to your saved IT Trainerbot memories.

You can review and manage your memories from your own IT Trainerbot account.

How do I get access to saved memories and unlimited conversations?

Saved memories and unlimited saved conversations are included with IT Trainerbot Plus and eligible CBT Nuggets Individual and Teams memberships.

To upgrade, visit IT Trainerbot and select Upgrade.

If you're part of an organization with an eligible Teams membership, contact your organization Admin about assigning a subscription license to your account.
