Internal Training lets your organization create and deliver its own training courses alongside the CBT Nuggets training catalog. Whether you're onboarding new employees, documenting internal processes, or teaching company-specific tools, you can manage your training in one place.

With AI-assisted course creation, you can turn existing documentation into structured learning content, including lessons, videos, images, and quiz questions.

What can you do with Internal Training?

Internal Training gives your organization the tools to:

• Create custom training: Build courses using your company's existing documentation, procedures, and resources.
• Generate training with AI: Upload documents and let AI help create structured courses and Skills.
• Customize your content: Review and edit lessons, media, quiz questions, and other training materials.
• Centralize learning: Deliver internal training alongside CBT Nuggets courses.
• Track learner progress: Monitor training completion using your organization's reporting tools.
• Create unlimited courses: There is no limit on the number of Internal Training courses your organization can create.

Who can use Internal Training?

Internal Training is included with CBT Nuggets Teams subscriptions at no additional cost.

Every licensed Teams member can create and access Internal Training content within their organization.

Organizations that want to extend training beyond their licensed Teams members can purchase an Internal Training Site License, which provides access to additional employees, including non-IT staff.

Internal Training is not included with Individual subscriptions, IT Trainerbot Plus, or the free tier.

Ways to create training

Internal Training offers three methods for creating courses and Skills.

Manual creation

Build your training from scratch by adding and organizing your own content.

Manual creation is ideal when you prefer complete control over the course-building process.

You can also add AI-generated Skills to a manually created course later.

Guided AI creation (Recommended)

Work alongside AI to create training from your existing documentation.

Guided mode lets you review the proposed training structure, adjust content preferences, and approve materials throughout the creation process.

This is a great option when you want to save time while maintaining control over the finished training.

Auto-build

Let AI automatically create your training using the documents you provide.

Auto-build generates the course and Skills without requiring decisions during the generation process. You can review and edit the content after it's created.

This is the fastest option for turning existing materials into training.

What types of training can you create?

Internal Training can support a variety of learning needs, including:
