NuggetLOVE: A Legacy of Giving

In April 2012, we launched NuggetLOVE, a charity initiative to benefit nonprofit organizations in Lane, Benton, and Linn counties (where CBT Nuggets team members live).

Here's how NuggetLOVE works: We donate 1 percent of our revenue from the first five business days of the month. In addition, we match the donation total the selected charity receives that month, up to $5,000.

The first charity we supported was Bridgeway House, an organization that serves children with autism and other related disabilities. We donated $7,197 to help them provide services such as treatments and education classes.

Team CBT presents FOOD for Lane County a giant check in July.

Most recently, we donated $8,666 last month to FOOD for Lane County, the largest private food bank in Lane County, which is dedicated to reducing child hunger.

That brings our NuggetLOVE total to $140,312,00!

This month we are supporting our local Muscular Dystrophy Association chapter.

CBT Nuggets team members enjoy themselves in February at a Casino Night fundraiser for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lane County.

But NuggetLOVE is far more than just donating money and holding check presentations. Many CBT Nuggets team members volunteer at these nonprofits and also attend their fundraisers.

It enables us to really connect with people and gain new perspectives, while lending a helping hand.

Month by month, we are committed to doing our part to enhance the lives of those in need. NuggetLOVE has enabled us to do this in a BIG way — a way that we are proud of.

We also thank you for your support in helping us make a difference.
