Q: Why should companies train their IT professionals in this technology? What value does it bring?
SharePoint is the largest collaboration product in the world with millions of end users working with it every day. If your goals are to become proficient with SharePoint, and possibly obtain your SharePoint MOS certification, this course will help you with both goals. The cool thing about this course is that it is applicable to your SharePoint environment no matter where it is hosted, on-premises, in Office 365, or in the cloud because I call out a couple minor feature capabilities that are different in Office 365.
Q: From a student perspective, what did you keep in mind when creating this course?
Exploring different ways to achieve specific tasks and the different components of SharePoint that you’ll want to be familiar with to be more efficient when using SharePoint.
Q: Any out-of-the-box tips for students to get the most out of your course?
Assuming you have access to a SharePoint site, follow along with the step-by-steps, and practice the steps in the course.
Q: What’s one real-world application someone can expect to use, thanks to this course?
Organizing the content in your SharePoint which will allow you to quickly locate the data that you as an individual are interested in working with, and filtering out the rest of the data that may not be so relevant to you.
Q: What are four topics or technologies covered in this course?
Customizing your SharePoint site, organizing your SharePoint content, securing the content contained within your site, and a better understanding how to navigate in SharePoint, and using navigation links, search, and your My Site page.

Customizing your SharePoint sites, because you can take a fairly boring SharePoint site and jazz it up after reviewing that Nugget.

Identifying and sharing the differences of the functionality between SharePoint hosted locally or on-premises, and when it is hosted in Office 365.
