Trainer Anthony Sequeira recently completed his “Cisco CCNP Data Center 642-908 DCUFT” course, which covers troubleshooting within the Cisco Unified Fabric domain, including switches, storage, and more. The 22 video, 5 hour course will prepare learners to take the 642-980 exam.
Here’s what Anthony had to say about creating this course:
Q: What was your favorite Nugget to create?
My favorite Nugget to create was Troubleshooting FabricPath. This replacement to Spanning Tree Protocol is so critical, I was really excited to point out what can go wrong.
Q: What roadblocks did you come across when creating this training, and how did you overcome them?
Accessing equipment is always a challenge. Cisco was so kind to get me gear for important Hands-On Nuggets.
Q: From a student perspective, what did you keep in mind when creating this course?
I really ensured they are completely prepared for this exam.
Q: Any outside-of-the-box tips for students to get the most out of your course?
When I provide a document in the Nugget Lab files – read it! 🙂
Q: What’s the ONE thing you hope learners take away from this training?
That TS of the Unified Fabric is not that different from the TS of any Cisco tech. Follow a tried-and-true methodology.
Q: What’s one real-world application someone can expect to use, thanks to this course?
Students will indeed be fully prepared to troubleshoot in the Nexus and MDS environments, as they’ll have a sound knowledge of what can go wrong.
