Setbacks do happen during the IT certification journey, even to the best of us. And while defeat is always a bummer, it’s important to realize that it can help you in the long run.
You can, however, try to anticipate obstacles and plan accordingly. By doing so, you’ll adapt quicker and keep moving forward without getting too off track. With that in mind, we strongly encourage you to develop weekly training plans. Setting a weekly goal, and having seven days to accomplish it, can provide you with flexibility in case something pops up—or one of those days doesn’t go as planned.
Think of a setback as an opportunity. Reflect on what happened and learn and grow from the experience. You’ll be wiser and better prepared for future challenges. As Henry Ford said, “The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.”
