Tech News Bit: Robot Coworkers?

robot-highfive_EMAILIt’s only a matter of time before robots become mainstream in the workplace. After all, many tasks are automated already. But how much autonomy should robots have? Turns out, maybe more than you think!

A recent MIT study found that humans and robots co-exist better when robots have more control, which led to increased productivity. In fact, humans were happier about it! This Mashable article has more details about the study, which tasked humans and robots with assembling Lego kits.

There has always been a fear that machines will rise and take over the world (OK, at least in movies), but the MIT study shows how humans could benefit from working alongside robots.
