CBT Nuggets’ NuggetLOVE charity initiative continues to thrive in 2014. Recently, we presented $10,115 to the Pearl Buck Center, a nonprofit organization that serves children and adults with developmental disabilities.
That check brought the total amount we’ve donated to charity in 2014 to $59,884!
Since establishing NuggetLOVE in April 2012, we’ve now donated $269,694 to 27 nonprofit organizations. Recipients have included all types of charities, from food banks to child-abuse prevention.
In a nutshell, here’s how NuggetLOVE works: Our employees nominate nonprofits that serve the area around CBTN HQ in Eugene, Oregon. We select one charity each month, and donate 1 percent of our revenue from the first five business days of that month to the selected nonprofit. In addition, we match (up to $5,000) the amount of donations the charity receives for the month. For more information, click here.
Our July nonprofit is Cut Down Cancer. In addition to making a donations, a CBT Nuggets team will play in the organization’s fundraiser golf tournament later this month.
Thank YOU for helping us make a difference!
