We’ve been hard at work this month, and we have an abundance of news to share:
We are thrilled to announce our newest project: MicroNuggets. What’s a MicroNugget? It’s a short video (3-6 minutes) that explains an IT concept or provides the solution to an IT problem. MicroNuggets are produced by CBT Nuggets trainers, so you can be sure you’re getting accurate information, delivered in an engaging, easy-to-understand style.
One more thing: Every MicroNugget is free.
See the MicroNuggets available now on our YouTube channel. We want to hear your ideas, so please suggest topics for future videos. Stay tuned — many more MicroNuggets are on the way!
CBT Nuggets: An IT Interview
If you haven’t yet watched “CBT Nuggets: An IT Interview,” go check it out now. Unlike most of our videos, this one is just about CBT Nuggets. We wanted a video that explained who we are and what we do. But we didn’t want a bland, corporate, serious video, because that’s not us. We’re pretty pleased with the end result, and we think Nugget Nation will be, too.
Have you used Nugget Chat yet? This feature is still in the beta stage, but is available to all streaming subscribers. Nugget Chat allows you to interact in realtime with other users. You can ask questions, and maybe even find a training buddy. To launch Nugget Chat, hover your cursor on the playback bar while you have a video playing, and click the orange chat button that appears.
CBT Nuggets Trainers at Upcoming Conferences
Several CBT Nuggets trainers are presenting at major upcoming conferences:
Are you going to be in Las Vegas on June 13? Project Management expert Steve Caseley will be speaking Wednesday at 4 pm at the Better Software West Conference in Caesars Palace. In his session, “How to Rework Poorly Defined Requirements,” Steve will discuss two different personal experiences with failed projects and the steps he took to get the projects back on the right track. He’ll also speak about business analysis of project requirements and what can be done to make these requirements measurable. Steve will also spend some time at CBT Nuggets’ booth at the expo fair.
Jeremy Cioara will present “CCNA Voice: Real World Overview and Certification Preparation” at Cisco Live in San Diego, California on June 12, at 12:30 P.M.
Trainer and virtualization expert Greg Shields will be a featured speaker at TechEd North America, June 11-13 in Orlando, Florida. Greg is a presenter for three sessions, so if you’re lucky enough to have tickets to this sold-out event, be sure to make at least one of his events.
