Windows Server 2003 is the latest networking OS from Microsoft. With improvements to Active Directory, integration of XML and the .NET framework and support for secure wireless LANS, businesses are steadily increasing their investment in the technology. An MCSA certified for 2003 is responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the product.
This training is geared for a working MCSA or MCSE who needs to understand the new features, controls and functions of Windows Server 2003 and maps to exam 70-292. If you are certified as an MCSA on Windows Server 2000, you will need to pass exam 70-292 in order to be certified as an MCSA 2003.
You'll be guided through the instruction by James Conrad. James was one of the contractors used in the development of the scope of objectives for the MCSE 2000 program. More recently, he was instrumental in the development of the Server 2003 certification track. From managing users and groups, providing access control and security, to issues with disaster recovery and the DNS, James provides insight and a number of helpful hints along the way.
There are 19 videos for a total of 10 hours of instruction. An MCSA 2000 or MCSE 2000 is the prerequisite for this training.
