Shawn Powers is a system administrator for a school district in northern Michigan, an editor for Linux Journal and has been teaching IT for over a decade. His specialties are in Linux and integrating multiple platforms for larger networks.

Shawn's been certified to teach Cisco's CCNA courses and started a Cisco Academy for a local school district where he taught networking (CCNA & CompTIA A+) to high school students. He has a passion for teaching others, and his enthusiasm comes through in his courses.
